88 garden
i love when a restaurant exceeds all of my expectations! this is the best korean bbq i've ever had (don't tell my godmother). how could you not love a restaurant where a sweet korean lady grills your meat for you, at your table! most meals come with quite a few sides, like kimchi, pickled radish, or sweet black beans, all of which are grown in their own garden! please check it out and take me with you!

james and i have been dating for 5 years today. off and on over the years, but these days always on. it's weird to think that i've dated someone for 5 years. we had salad & soup at joe's for lunch and sushi/chicken teriyaki at akida. now we are watching anchorman (our first date movie) and eating ice cream treats from kroger. i love my bff!
and we're baaaaccck..
from san diego, from atlantic city, and to real life. it felt so good to be away! we had so much fun in california. lots of delicious food, so many chillers, i love making friends on vacation. i loved going to the zoo, even though president's day almost made it impossible. i can't wait to visit again! beth & ashton were the most wonderful hosts ever. i lost $80 in atlantic city. my strategy was to only play slots themed around my life, such as asian princess, pele goddess, and kitty glitter. once i branched out, i started losing. but it's ok,

to my nail polish freakz
i originally went to the OPI (nail polish) site to look up their new hong kong line. i haven't seen the colors, but they sound pretty cool/offensive (bling dynasty, suzi says feng shui, really?). while on the site, an ad flashed by about OPI & Dell, apparently you can coordinate your Dell laptop with your favorite shade of nail polish! i love nail polish a little bit more than the next girl, but WOW. and i bet the nail polish lasts longer than the computer! oopz

2.roasted long island duck breast - stuffed with pear, wrapped with applewood bacon, smoked

do the kim kardashian
this video is budget as hell, the song isn't TOO catchy, but i'm into it. i wish that fake kim kardashian was a little bit prettier. i'm not hating, i'm just keeping it real.

a single man
i never go to the movies on my own accord because sometimes i feel like its a waste of time. i always fall asleep anyway and i can always just wait til it comes to dvd. i was super-psyched before watching this movie, i didn't know too much about it before i saw it. i knew that i love tom ford and julianne moore and i sometimes love colin firth. (but i prefer daniel cleaver) everything about this movie is so beautiful. i won't tell you anything except for the fact that i felt the same way the entire movie and the last five minutes, wrecked me. i felt happy, then really sad, then i couldn't believe it was ending, then i had to pee. basically, you should go see it.

a taste of the far east
let's see, 7 people, pretty hungry for lunch on a monday. kind of on a time limit. it's also martin luther king day, so nobody is at work or school. black sheep was crowded and ipanema was closed. it's hard to get 7 people to decide on a restaurant but we were out of options. the sign in front of far east said free soda. WE LOVE SODA. i'm extremely picky about my vietnamese cuisine but was pleasantly surprised with far east. for those of you that don't know, i barely ever go past lombardy, so to eat on grace and harrison was monumental. the restaurant is beautiful on the inside and very spacious too. we all loved their easy listening jazz covers but i could've done without the doctors show while i eat (i have a weak stomach). i split some spring rolls with andrea and got the tofu/veggie pho as my meal, we also got vietnamese coffee, which was very decadent and delicious. i wanted to steal the coffee cups but didn't because i'll probably go back soon, i mean, they are my people.
