i was at pleasants yesterday and when i was getting into my car, i saw this little friend just hanging out.



i started to drive away, but i had to drive back and take a picture because it was such a cute sight!

i had grilled veal tenderloin with a blueberry butter last night. i forgot to take a picture of it because i was so hungry. ok, i mean i know it's a baby cow and that's really sad but can i just say that it wasn't THAT amazing. it was delicious, don't get me wrong but i think i like pork better, always.

pierce's pitt bbq

james' family owns bellissimo pizza cafe in williamsburg, so whenever we go to busch gardens/yorktown/anywhere near america's first settlement, we eat there. but today i was in the mood for something different. i'm over pizza. so james and i went to pierce's pitt bbq everyone i know raves about it and we were starving, so i knew it was gonna be dericious.



we both got the j.c. special, which was a jumbo bbq sammy (we both added coleslaw), krinkle kut fries, a cookie (macadamia nut!), and a drink (sierra mist please!) i loved every minute of it. the fries were super kripsy, just the way i like it. the bbq was so tender and so juicy. it was everything i wanted and more. i couldn't finish though, too jumbo for me :[
