smoke or fire

yesterday, i went to target and i bought pumpkin pie spice coffee creamer, black knee high socks, cat food, and some new mascara. i had to be at work at 4 but i was gonna take a quick shower, so lauren and i could watch an episode of 30rock. we get home and andrea is talking about crumb cake and about ten minutes later, we smell something burning. no its not the oven, no its not the hair dryer, what the fuck? we follow the scent and it's coming from my room. i open the door and it's engulfed in smoke. HOLY FUCK. panic mode! save the cat, he's sitting on my bed. go back to my room, can't figure out why it's smoking. i dont burn candles, it's not the dryer, HOLY SHIT, why is this stack of papers that have been kept next to my back door smoking? basically this is what happened. i've had this stack of papers, just folded and sitting in front of my door for a month now. the combination of old glass (prism effect) and the hot ass sun, like a magnifying glass it burned a hole into these newspapers and started a fire that if i come home 15 minutes later, my room would've been toast. thanks to my roommates for panicking with me but also helping assist me in putting out the fire and saving garth's life.

celebrated james' 25th birthday this weekend. it was definitely a blast. i just remember riding my bike a lot and really fast and the wind was so cool and i like how it kind of takes your breath away. sunday, his actual birthday, we went to helen's for brunch with some friends. i have seriously never had a harder time deciding what to eat. i got the B-L-A-T, oh shit i love avocado. we hung out way hard, then james bought a flat screen tv. hung out even harder, thought we could go out but we were partied out. now we can travel and he can rent a car because his is 25. oh yeah, i gave him the baby kitten. he is now a cat daddy.
