According to the Chinese Zodiac, the Year of 2010 is the Year of the Tiger, which commences on February 14, 2010 and ends on February 2, 2011. The Tiger is the third sign in the Chinese Zodiac cycle, and it is a sign of bravery. This courageous and fiery fighter is admired by the ancient Chinese as the sign that keeps away the three main tragedies of a household. These are fire, thieves and ghosts.

pasha
i'm not even gonna pretend like i know how to blog about food. but i like to eat it, try new things, and take pictures of it. that's all. last sunday, princess and i woke up super hungry. she took me to her favorite brunch spot, pasha in norfolk. during the ottoman empire, the word 'pasha' was used for high ranking officials in the political system. well, i've never had turkish food before, so i was really excited to try it. and it turns out our friend beth was going to be our server, so she gave me the real deal behind some of the dishes.

update.
i've been in virginia beach since wednesday night. i have been taking over billy and princess' house (and also princess' bed). it's been really chill being here and hanging out with my friends. tomorrow i'm going to see the christmas lights at the oceanfront with my family. it should be fun. my dad really wants a family waffle house breakfast, so i suppose i'll do that on tuesday and head back to richmond at some point. i want to stay longer but i also really miss my kitty cat and i hate making my parents worry when i don't come home at night. pros and cons, baby. i got a really cool camera for christmas. i wasn't expecting it all, so it makes the gift even more awesome. can't wait to step up my photography game, but i also don't really know how to use it. help?
